Hello Rotary Volunteers and attendees,
As recommended by the CDC and Town of Cohasset Board of Health, and following social distancing recommendations for gatherings over 250 people, Cohasset Rotary Club has elected to cancel the April 5th and 44th annual Road Race-by- the-Sea.
It is with heavy hearts we made the decision but know that it is right. We thank all our sponsors, runners and volunteers who stepped forward to run and help with this important and fun, community-wide Rotary fundraiser and spring tradition, especially on the 250th anniversary of Cohasset. Runners and sponsors have been notified by Race Director Linda Fechter.
Anyone who wishes to donate to Cohasset Rotary Foundation (501c3) it will be greatly appreciated. We donate over $4000 annually to Rotary International who work with WHO (World Health Organization) to prevent, treat and cure diseases, in addition to the thousands given for Rotary College Scholarships, ASP students, Scouts and many other town and national/international service activities.
